Absolute Radio 70s is a British radio station that broadcasts on DAB in the Greater London area and on the internet to a global audience. This station's debut was on 29 November 2011 entitling itself as "The UK's only 70s Radio Station". Even a month after Smooth 70s started broadcasting nationally on the DAB multiplex, Absolute 70s continued to brand itself this way. On 6 October 2013 its competitor ceased transmission and Capital XTRA took over its national frequency.
Absolute Radio 70s slogan today continues to be "The UK's only 70s Radio Station".
