However, after one more year of operation, circumstances led to the difficult decision to close the station. Because of this incredible support, the decision was made to bring the station back.
In March 2026, WFRM Radio officially returned to the airwaves — but this time with a bigger vision and a broader reach. While the station proudly began as a service for Wolverhampton, its relaunch marked the start of a new chapter. Instead of broadcasting solely to one city, WFRM Radio expanded its focus to reach listeners around the world through online streaming and modern digital platforms.
